PRESIDENT BUSH: WARRIOR W!
This is the first of three "Warrior W" sketches about Pres. Bush. Titled "Bush at bay", it was drawn Jan. 24, '03, as the decision to go to war loomed, though it was ultimately a foregone conclusion at this point, as noted in the motto: fight or die! Though Tom Daschle has been replaced by Harry Reid, and the Clintons are cozying up to the Bushes these days, this drawing is still relevant. Pres. Bush has more than lived up to the warrior I portrayed him as. He has had success in dealing with Liberal US opposition just as he has had in dealing with the international community. The fact that it has been rough riding is a function of Liberals' and Europeans' anti Bushism.
The second of the "Warrior W" sketches is a celebration of the initial success in Iraq; the toppling of the statues, etc. The "dark forces" include the Clintons (rightly or wrongly), along with France and Germany asserting that "we're not weasels, we're rats"! I also correctly predict the same fate for Saddam as his statues met, which seems apparent now. This was undated, but before the terrorists coalesced into an organization in Iraq. More on that in later posts.
In this, the third of my "Warrior W" sketches, many different ideas are represented. The dark shadow on the left represents Saudi ties to Osama, the Taliban, and radical elements in Pakistan. While I poke fun at the yellowcake uranium and WMD nonesense, the death of Uday and Kusay is properly center stage, with the rest of the axis of evil looking on from the background. On the right, the BBC hunts Tony Blair as he admonishes Democrats in the US Congress.
